I had high expectations for Tres Agaves before it even opened and after eating and drinking there a half dozen times, I have not once left disappointed. Definitely make reservations and don't be surprised if immediate seating is not an option. Luckily, the drinks at the bar are fantastic (I recommend the ""La Rosa"" or a pour of tequila) and Julio, one of the owners, will often walk around and answer any tequila questions. Guacamole is done in the traditional Jalisco style and is the best I have had in San Francisco. The only suggestion I would make to the owners is to incorporate daily happy hour drink and guacamole specials.
