Having had great meals here previously, I went to Vin Rouge for dinner this week. My fish was dry and, when someone finally came over to ask about my food, I requested that it be returned. I had only eaten 1 bite, yet the chef insisted that I pay for the uneaten meal because, according to him, the fish was 'perfect'. I used to be an admirer of this restaurant but I will now tell everyone I know NOT to eat here. It's not good business to treat your customers badly, especially ones that are fairly regular customers. Did they act this way because I was dressed more casually than some of the other diners that night? I can't say for sure but that was the distinct impression I got.
