I have not been to Alexis' Restaurant for a little while; but I have eaten there many times, starting back in 1972, when it was a market that had middle eastern ingredients and some sandwiches. Then it began to add food, little by little. Monday nights, Alexis closed the Market and taught Greek Cooking. He has the best recipes and they shine in his restaurant. He is attentive to his guests and always providing a wonderful dining adventure. The wines are superb. It might not be on Ventura Boulevard or La Cienaga; but it is well worth the trip to Northridge!
