In San Francisco Thai food is very popular and everyone's favorites seem to be overrated. I live on Divisadero I find most of the food boring or over priced. Phuket is okay but not that great and its usually busy. I found Thai Place and tried it with my boyfriend and since last year we've been going there an average of once a week. The food is well prepared, not too greasy, and well price and the service is excellent. A previous review seemed inaccurate to me but I think it is because the restaruant experienced a makeover and some renovation. This place is clean, warm, and nicely lit. You can have a romantic dinner, a bunch of friends or just eat a good meal alone in peace.
