The Farallon restaurant, and Tavern on the Green in New York, have only one thing in common more or less, judging by reviews: Atmosphere. Otherwise, Farallon is more akin to Gary Danko, in food and service. It is an excellent special occasion place. Seafood here has been better than at Aqua, and considering that Aqua is no longer ""chefed"" by Michael Mina, seafood is MUCH better. I go to a seafood restaurant for the seafood. I would therefore return to Farallon.
