Great decor. Nice, cozy booths for 2. Small servings for sampling. Drinks a bit pricey. Menu requires food dictionary.
OUR EXPERIENCE: God help you if the waitstaff somehow mixes up on who is supposed to be waiting on you! We were left stranded LITERALLY for the first 30 minutes after being seated during our first visit ... no drinks, no server, no "your server with be right with you," no nothing but a busboy who poured water.
Before storming out, I complained to the manger, and things could only improve from there. Our server was knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful, and we had a good visit after all. The restaurant even picked up our bill! However, I will probably not go back just because we WERE left, completely unattended to, for a full thirty minutes after being seated :( Maybe just a fluke, but once bitten, twice shy.
