This restaurant was a very pleasant surprise. It exceeded my expectations in many ways. The food is very artfully prepared. It is unbelievably inexpensive for what you get. I remember all main courses to be around $8-$14. The wait staff was very professional, but then again we weren't arrogant with them either.
Having said that, this place is a victim of its own success. This place does get insanely crowded on the weekends. The wait can be immense. Luckily, there is a nice but crowded adjoining bar to drink while waiting for a table. I can see how others might be frustrated at waiting for so long, but your imminent ordeal should have been obvious to all but the most oblivious and inexperienced. Go somewhere else next time if you are unprepared for the obligatory wait and need to make unreasonable demands once reality sets in.
