Slainte is, by far, the best bar in downtown Houston. It's not trendy, it's not expensive, the food is delicious, and the drink specials are OUTSTANDING! Where else can you get a 75-cent pint of beer any day the Astros, Aeros, Texans, Rockets or any local college team are playing at home? Staff makes the place, though. They are the most friendly people you'll meet on Main Street.
