Came to Tejas after much hesitation since the mister needed a Tejas fix. After hesitation, the gulf shrimp appetizer, white and black bean soup, and southwestern caesar salad was excellent. After the first course, I was excited for dinner. The dinner came, and the food was mediocre. I had the chicken special with a ""twice baked potato"". Well, it should have been called ""twice baked potato skin"" since it was all potato skin, no potato, and the stuffing was made of over-powering blue cheese and mushrooms. To top it off, the service was poor for a so-called gourmet restaurant. I found myself needing a refill on my water as the water girl passed me several times. Pros: good appetizers more
