Rodellio (Koy fame) has opened his own place, and the results are everything I hoped for. While difficult to pinpoint, I'd describe the fare is refined, Asian soul food. But, there are definitely California influences, French technique and yet the flavors are comforting and familiar. The menu was a bit overwhelming, but as our waiter suggested... it was difficult to make a poor selection. I enjoyed the crabcake crusted ahi tuna and the miso and curry crusted black cod, in particular. My dining companions went with hardier dishes, including a babyback pork rib with an asian glaze that was phenomenal. Service was pleasant, and it's clear that a relaxed atmosphere is a goal, but not at the expense of promptness and detail.
Pros: Great flavors, Great decor, Great service
Cons: , Menu almost too big
