It's actually worth trekking down to Front & Oregon every once in awhile for this local legend, and that's saying something.
Tony Luke's steaks are, though probably not the very best in Philly, quite good and almost worth their reputation. They are huge, the meat is tender, and the toppings are crisp and tasty. I also have to say that, while far from an original idea, the autographed photos of celebrities seem to fit the place.
The downsides are the invariably long line, the somewhat curt service, and the location way out of the way.
