First time to a nail salon, my friend and I went for a pedicure, we stood waiting for half hour to be seated while there were plenty of vacant massage chairs. Rather than letting us sit at teh massage chairs waiting for a pedicurist, they had us stand there waiting. the women working there weren't very friendly. I overheard a pedicurist comment on her client, ""OOH! Bad, you painted your toes by yourself? I can tell!"" that was not very nice, made the woman so embarassed. My pedicurist just couldn't stop giggling at me. dont know why. maybe it was because it was my first time getting a pedicure and I had no clue what the procedures were, the fact that she didn't really speak english, each time she wanted my foot up on teh pedastol, she had to tap it.
