Very good, creative food enthusiastically served by helpful staff. Desserts were very good, soup shots were innovative and pleasant though they created a desire for the full bowl. Salads were well done. Serving size recommendations were generally spot on, though we could have done with slightly less even though the portions are smallish.
Much less pleased with hostess and bar staff. Bartendress on my last trip was astonishingly rude and not even good at her job: drinks were only adequately made, not professionally poured. Another night bartender was offensive. Both had pseudo-New-York attitude that I don't even find in NY. One of the waiters also reported their legendary behavioral problems in his experience and that of other diners. The hostess I found was a little better.
All kind of laughable and did not spoil the very good dining experience. So try the restaurant but avoid the ludicrously snooty, unprofessional bar.
