Whenever in the Newport beach area I would always meet friends at Bandera for drinks. The bar crowd was/is spectacular. A singles nirvana. Finally eating dinner one night I realized how many great meals I missed out on at Bandera. The rotisserie chicken was the best I ever had. Better than Zankou. Another time I had the Prime Rib. This also was fabulous. Well worth the drive for a great dining experience.
