The building is starting to get run-down, you probably will park in the dirt, and reservations usually mean nothing. But this is, by far, my favorite resturant in Scottsdale. The lighting, seating, and overall ambiance makes it a truly enjoyable eating experience. The sake and beer is authentically and happily intoxicating. The sushi is always fabulous. To match, food cooked at the tables will undoubtedly please your pallate. Kyoto is just as wonderful a place to bring a group of 5+ people, to eat, drink, and be merry as it is to bring one friend to have some great sushi or meet new people. I highly recommend this old-town Scottsdale fixture.
