Orange grease dominated my dish. It was so prevalent that the grease was oozing off the edges of the plate onto the table. The small portioned tasteless food was permeated by the grease and lacked not only traditional Thai heat but traditional Thai flavor, or, for that matter, any flavor. We have eaten in Thai restaurants around the country. There are great places in NY and San Fran, but also in Sedona (Tara Thai) and Albuquerque (Thai Ginger). All it takes is a good chef, and clearly Thai Kitchen does not have one. It was not only bad Thai food, it was bad food. The service was adequate, ambiance medicore, and prices were nominal for dinner but high for what was served. Skip this place. There are other Thai places on the same street. I haven't eaten in them yet, but they must be better than this one.
