THE pizza (tomato pie) that all pizza must be compared. I live in New York City which has AMAZING Pizza. I've been to all the best: Patsy's, Totonnos, Grimaldi's, Joes, Arturos. While close, none of these classic joints is as PERFECT a pie as Delorenzos. The perfect balance of thin, chewy slightly charred crust, to tangy tomato sauce, just enough cheese and sparingly used but perfect toppings. Get more pies than the number of people in your party. Ask for them ""staggered"". Get a side order of hot peppers and bring your own Beer or Wine or both. Sure they don't have a bathroom but sacrifices need to be made when you are enjoying a pie this perfect.
