The highlight of the meal was the excellent olive oil and homemade bread that started things off on a good note. Regrettably, it was all down hill from that point on, food wise. The grilled calamari appetizer was tough and small. The salmon with Mediterrean salsa was greasy and totally uninteresting. The namesake gnocchi was blaaaaannnnnndddddddd. The escarole was lacking in flavor too. Philly's got a wealth of good Italian restaurants; go to one of them instead and don't waste your time on this place.
