While it's not on par with a Los Angeles or New York art house theater, Charlotte's own Manor Theater continues in the tradition with its eclectic selections of ""off the beaten path"" films. From foreign films with (gasp) SUBTITLES, to risque big city flicks with (clutch the pearls) gay/lesbian themes, to disturbing documentaries . . . this is about the only place in Charlotte to find a decent low budget indy or import.
