I have worked in the food service industry for quite some time, but have never really been to a place like Buca Di Beppo before. A very interesting concept to serve in traditional family sized food portions like many Chinese restaurants, but the bulk food carried with it a bulk sized taste. From the Appetizer to the Entree, all the food seemed to be lacking any real taste. Additionally, despite being at the chef's table (in the kitchen) which requires reservations, the service was slow, and impersonal. I felt like I was at a Sonic driver through window. Despite this, the very tasty dessert known as the "Bella Festa" and reasonable price left my evening on a high note.
Pros: Inexpensive, Unique style, Good Desserts
Cons: Bland tatse, Slow Service, Crowded
