Chris Madrid's is hands-down my favorite place to eat in this town of over a million people. Though the burgers cost a mere $5, I would prefer to eat here than to have a $50 steak for free. That's how good Chris Madrid's burgers are.
The Tostada Burger is a local classic, and their fries are second to none. Excellent nachos and chalupas round out the menu. If this restaurant were not 30 miles away from me, I would eat there every day.
Always crowded, Chris Madrid's is truly a spot for locals in-the-know. Dine inside or on the patio, San Antonio's weather usually permits both. If you like big, greasy burgers, Chris Madrid's is for you.
