The atmosphere, the food up to the appetizer/salad was good but then they DROPPED THE BALL. An hour passed and we had to ask our waiter about our order. Only a short reply ""kitchen is backed up"" was relayed to us. After that, we asked for the manager, who came over and to say the same thing with an apology that was far from sincere.
Our mood and evening celebration for our party was broken and the manager did not do anything to remedy the situation UPFRONT. Upon the bill, the waiter advised us that our drinks were complimentary but I feel that at a place like Farallon, making sure that the customer is pleased each moment through the dining experience is more important than lousy $40 dollars. Terribly disappointed with their level of professionalism.
