Adega is a wonderful addition to Lodo . . . too bad its maitre d' was so uppity. I was there on a Thursday night at about 7:45 (no reservations) with two friends. The maitre d' refused to seat us notwithstanding the fact that several tables were open. He claimed that he had one reservation to fill for which he had to allow ""another 15-20 minutes at least"" and, if they didn't show, could seat us in 30 minutes. Either Adega will hold a reservation an unprecedented amount of time (upwards of 30 minutes!) or he was scoffing at my husband's apparel (jeans). Adega, however, was happy to let us eat an expensive dinner out of sight in its wine bar, however. One might expect better from a restaurant located where restaurants have come and gone like the wind over the years.
