In the early 90's, I regularly went to Rudy's in Seattle on Pine street for a flat top. I'm a woman, so it was nice to get a flat top with no conservative attitude. My experience today at Rudy's at 4451 Sunset evoked my other Rudy's experiences: the folks working there were low key and not unfriendly. The service was good. I got a great haircut and it was exactly what I had asked for. I went Friday at 11am and was out the door in 20 minutes (I have a chin length shag).
If you want to go somewhere with servile staff, go elsewhere. The other gripers on this list don't have much credibility with me. It's not surprising that a popular place is going to have a long wait during peak hours. And you can get a bad haircut anywhere.
Pros: great haircut, very fast, good atmosphere
