The plaza is a charming place, one of the few places in KC where you can wander around, sit in a cafe and people watch. It is, however the epitome of someting I read somewhere once ""cupcake land, where everything is pleasant and bland"". There are other things in KC you need to seek out which are more interesting...events like the First Friday gallery walk in the Crossroads, museums and other cultural events like the symphony which are underrated.
