This place is great. This is a very cozy place - the historic building used to be an old pharmacy. It is off the beaten path, but still close in Portland. The food is reasonably priced with a few interesting rice dishes (Halibut with a Mustard cream sauce) as well as some traditional comfort food (Beef Stroganoff). The wine list is nice and the procuitto - cheese plate is a great starter. There is also a small area in the back to have cocktails (and they DO know how to make drinks there!). During this economy, they have the perfect recipe for a successful restaurant - good food, reasonable prices, great service, and nice environment.
Pros: Inexpensive, Cozy Ambience, Great Service
Cons: Distance from city
