My wife and I have had dinner at Thomas Beisl twice in the past few weeks (once at the bar, once seated in the dining room). This restaurant, in my mind, is the best addition to the Fort Greene restaurant scene since our moving to the neighborhood about a year ago (though we are still partial to A Table). The food is delicious and the menu and beer selection sway far from ""the usual"" offering (tripe, anyone?). Outside of BAM parking their buses directly in front of the restaurant, the restaurant is warm and charming and well-worth a visit.
