Best Breakfast? A half hour went by before a very young person took our order, and another 45 minutes passed before we got our pancakes. I saw a lot of empty tables - but not a single waitperson who looked over 18.
I never got a glass of water, though I asked twice. Our food was unceremoniously dumped on the table with not a single query as to how we were doing. The placemat revealed that the restaurant was once a Perkins, which explains everything. I think Perkins gives a little better service. Their one saving grace is that its hard to mess up breakfast food.
If you are friends with the family that owns this place, maybe YOU will get good service. Otherwise, do not go out of your way. You can have the same meal at Ember's and be done in half the time.
Pros: lots of busboys, choice of pancakes, sense of timelessness
Cons: few and young waiters, BAD service, canned blueberries
