but the best steak around. I've been to Jaks in Issaquah numerous times and have NEVER had a bad, or even marginal, experience. Yes the wait can be long, but if you come later and expect to wait they also have an outstanding bar. The restaurant has none of the pretentiousness of the downtown steak houses. The wait staff is knowledgeable on preparations and the food is outstanding! I highly recommend the filet and the blackened salmon. I've also eaten at The Met numerous times (I used to work across the street) and feel that Jaks has more consistent service and quality (at a fraction of the cost to boot!). If you're in a hurry, plan on getting to Jaks when they open. And if you're not in a hurry, it's well worth the wait.
