I made an appointment here after reading the mostly rave reviews, and I was pleasantly surprised! I had asked for a stylist who was on the lower end of their price range ($45), knowing that could be the death of my hair. That's more than I'll typically pay, but it was worth it- I WILL go back.
My stylist, Ellen, was fifteen minutes late. She was very apologetic, and so friendly that she even got me (I normally am not terribly talkative after a long work day) to engage in a conversation the entire haircut. She cut my hair EXACTLY how I had explained the difficult short haircut to her without me providing a picture or anything!!
The best part about this salon is probably the fact that they have a ""trimming service""- if you need a trim as things grow out, you can make an appointment for only $10!
Pros: small, "hip", clean, un-pretentious, reasonably priced
