Mygroup was seated promptly. The first thing I noticed about the restaurant was the din of conversation! Annoyingly loud! The bare concrete floors and walls provide no sound dampening. Our waiter came and stood at one end of the table for 8 and whispered. I never heard anything the waiter said and have no idea if there were any specials. We had spring rolls and calamari as appetizers which were both very good. The iced tea was jasmine flavored and tasted like soap. My rotisserie chicken and garlic mashed potatoes were pretty good, but not all that imaginative - nothing about it set it apart from the same dish from other Houston restaurants. But it was fine. I found everything to be a bit pricey - a $9 hamburger just seems a little ridiculous. The service was pretty poor. Dampen the noise. Not condusive to dinner conversation. Upgrade the service.
