As someone who has lived in Houston, Texas for many years, and who seasons even her breakfast cereal with hot sauce, I can't recommend RedBones to anyone who takes their bar-b-que even semi-seriously.
I tried the rib sampler, and every rib from Tennessee to Texas tasted exactly the same to me, and what's worse, there was no bite to the sauce, not even a nibble.
The ""yankee"" cornbread was too sweet and dry, and the fried okra was bland and cold...definitely not true to typical Southern fare.
The tables were spaced too close together--I felt as if I were at a hog-feed rather than a restaurant, and the service had a tough time maneuvering their way to each table.
Pros: Inexpensive
Cons: Bad Food, Bad Ambience, Too Crowded
