Unlike inland cafes and coffee houses (i.e, Hollywood and beyond) that are besotted with laptops and cell phones wielded by entertainment industry flunkies, Abbot's Habit draws its clients from a wider swath of social fabric as can only be found in Venice. Creative types, or at least creative-looking types, seem to be the dominate species of patron closely followed by beach-dwellers and the occasional hipster. The coffee is rich, the staff courteous and pleasant and the ambience inviting.
