We have been twice and this has become our favorite restraunt in all of St Louis. The moment you walk in the door of the old house-restaurant, you are greeted by a friendly host/hostess. We arrived a little early, so we were directed to the bar upstairs, where you will be asked by the owner if you would like to have the second best margarita in the world. For appetizers they offer some great choices, including grilled shrimp, wrapped in bacon. They have a menu, but I recommend ordering from one of their many specials. I had the prime rib with a horseradish sauce and my wife had the filet mingon with a brandy cream sauce, both were excellent. The waiter was friendly and knowledgeble. The bill was about $70 including drinks. It is a great place to bring out-of-town guests or anytime you want a great meal. Highy recommended!!!
