I must say, I was a bit nervous about travelling all the way to the outer Richmond for dinner. But once we opened to door of Aziza, I was transported back to my days in Moorish Spain. The owner and his girlfriend (the hostess) have done an incredible job of putting together the interior decor. But what really evoked memories of trips abroad was the food! Excellent from start to finish. The special soup was a mint-infused carrot soup with blood oranges = divine! The flatbread appetizer with an assortment of spreads was delicious and our couscous entrees did not disappoint. Great wine list of Rieslings and Pinot Noirs. Best of all? The house-made marinated olives. We couldn't help but to keep asking for more!!! Excellent service. Fantastic ambiance.
