The staff at Giovanni and Pileggi can be rude and haughty. Don't go here for a manicure or pedicure; their focus is hair so everything else is secondary. I've been to G&P once for my hair for a spiral perm and was very happy with the results. I had a spiral perm at Toppers the year before and it fell out almost immediately (because they cut it after the perm rather than before). The G&P stylist was knowledgeable and receptive to my bringing in pictures of what I wanted. Although it was VERY expensive (the bill was $250 before the tip) it was the best perm I've ever had. The curl was great, my hair was healthy and it stayed curly until it grew out and I cut it off. I can't remember the stylist's name (began with an M?) but I would definitely recommend G&P for spiral perms.
Pros: excellent perms, knowledgeable
Cons: VERY expensive, staff can be rude, hard to park in town
