We went to Picante recently and were very disappointed.
I used to look forward to their chips......they were light
crunchy and tasty! They were the best around.
The chips we had recently were stale,
overcooked chips from possibly yesteday's tortillas.
Our dinner plates were at least 1/3 smaller than the same
dinners we had 6 or 7 months ago. The food has never
been great or authentic but that day it was very ""so-so.""
We have never been too fond of the ""ambience"" there.
It is always very noisey and it always seems too claustraphobic. A lot of customers are rude and snobby......it makes the atmosphere very unfriendly.
The STAFF however is always very nice and welcoming.
Pros: Very friendly staff
Cons: Food so-so, Poor ambience
