This is in the top five in PDX but the kitchen can be inconsistent. Thankfully the table is set with forks and there is nary a fortune cooky to be seen. The noodles actually arrive with sufficient sprout and veg. garnish as well . The much lauded peanut sauce is often too sweet and tastes as if it were composed of 99% heavy coconut milk. Indeed some of their curries and the tom kha are overloaded with coconut milk. The paht kee mao was decent although a little underspiced and not anywhere near as smoky and redolent of holy basil as it should be. The pad thai noodles are a disgrace as the chef clearly uses ketchup or a close facsimile. Their wok needs more BTUs.
Pros: reasonable prices, mostly authentic
Cons: underspiced, peanut sauce cloying
