Recently had dinner here for first time; was hoping the food would live up to the raves. It did. All items were great - perfectly cooked, flavors balanced, beautifully plated. Wines by the glass were impressive. Service was good - not as polished as the surroundings, but perfectly fine (our bus boy was exceptional). However - noise level was so high, I couldn't hear conversation at my own table. Adega seems to want to attract the fine dining crowd AND the bar crowd; unless they expand or put walls between dining room & bar, this is a problem. We sat near a table who punctuated their - and our - meal with literal screams. Only excellent food saved this from being a miserable night. Almost forgot - desserts BY FAR the best I've had in Denver, esp. crispy apple rings with truffle ice cream. Creative, flavorful, subtle - great job.
