When I first moved to Seattle, being from Texas, everyone wanted to take me to eat BBQ to get my opinion as a Texan. The first place they took me was Dixie's. Supposedly Lousiana BBQ...yeah right!! At best the ""chopped beef"" sandwich I ordered could be called a spicey Sloppy Joe. The sauce was spicey that's about all I took from my experience. Had any of my friends from South of Mason and Dixon's line come up I would've been embarassed to take them to Dixie's. Those visiting the Emerald City should just stick to Sea Food, what they do best up there.
