Firebirds does an good job for a theme restaurant without the kitsch that many other theme eateries fall prey to. The steak, pork and fish-- although pricey-- are all done very well by a restaurant of this size and lineage. While not the equivalent of Splendido or Grouse Mountain Grill (true Rocky Mountain champions crowned by Zagat and my personal taste), Firebirds should be proud to offer this concept anywhere outside of the Vail Valley. One recommendation would be for the restaurant to accept reservations, and perhaps leave a section for walk-ins.
Pros: Lodge Ambiance, Steaks, Other wood-fired food
Cons: No Reservations, No Reservations, No Reservations
