The cruise on Riverboat Discovery is very informative and scenic. It is also a real bit of Alaska history, operated by the same family for several generations, since the early days of Fairbanks. Large groups are accomodated with ease, as are individual travelers. Staff are friendly and articulate, and demonstrations of native Athabascan crafts and history are truly authentic.
