You can't miss this wild and loud restaurant on columbus St. THe waiters are fun and out of control, the music is loud, the place is crowded. It's the only fun place open after 2 am that serves food, and it's become a landmark of SF. People from all over come to Steps of Rome. Their profiteroles are to die for and so are their other desserts. Their food is ok-not the best Italian I've had. You definitely become Italian the minute you walk in because the music is Italian and all the waiters are Italian. It's great fun!
