My friend and I went to HV last night for a reunion dinner after his year abroad. We were told there would be a 30 minute wait. We waited patiently for well over an hour and watched our seats be given to someone else. Once the mistake was fixed we were not given menus until we were finally given a menu from another patron. The chef promptly crossed out several items. When we inquired about wines, the chef was dismissive and rude. He said ""I DON'T know what you would like"" before making a couple of brief recommendations. The food was delicious, but not as described. The blue wing was served solo instead of with the fried green tomato accompaniment presented on the menu. The bill was about $100. This is high but within the range expected for good food and service. We recieved atrociously snooty service. It was appalling.
