CE is a pretty standard Mexican restaurant with the distinction of being set on the water. The patio is great, ask for seats outside. The food gets mixed reviews, starting with the ketchupy, canned salsa. Rich's crab enchiladas were filled with a weird crab salad mixture bordering on unpleasant, although his creamy avocado acompaniment was ambrosial. Chris, however, really enjoyed his beef enchilada/taco plate. Service was only adequate - we had to ask for everything and water was never refilled voluntarily. The table was dirty when we sat down and we had to ask to have it cleaned. The low spot - in Chris' mind at least, was the absolutely dreadful margarita. With no sour flavor at all, it tasted like nothing more than a glass of blended ice. Our philosopy on Mexican restaurants starts from the margarita and goes from there, if the margarita disappoints, look out.
