The coffee is really strong, which is a plus to me. The dessert I had was some kind of custard with berries, which was creamy and delicious. The view was so peaceful. I went in the afternoon in the spring and at sunset in the summer. Both times were just so relaxing to me. I agree with a previous reviewer that this is a great place to take someone on a date...the kind of date you like spending all night talking to. It is a great atmosphere for conversation. It would also be a great place for out of town guests. I did have a granita once that wasn't as good as granitas I've had in the past, but so what? The view is so good that you could experiment with half the menu and not feel like you didn't get your money's worth.
