These perfect ten scores musta come from owners or employees or friends because it's obvious that The Mississippi is not a pefect TEN. Best pizza in town? There's NO SAUCE! And the descriptions of the decor make it sound like this is gonna be some swank N'Awlins type joint. The furnishing are pretty cool, but plain. And when someone asks if you have A/C (rare but on this particular evening it was 101 fahrenheit) you should answer with all honesty the way the Delta Cafe did: ""Yeah we have air conditioning, but it doesn't really feel like it."" As for the band, it was an unexpected treat, not knowing exactly when bands play here ... a jazz/klezmer type five-piece, but guys ... learn how to play without sheet music! I respect that and loathe it at the same time. You can't really FEEL the music when you're painting by numbers.
