Being a Florida native, I was expecting a lot more than a trendy atmosphere from a Miami native Cuban restaurant owner. The tostones were dry, obviously old, and not seasoned. Tostones should be crispy on the outside and moist on the inside, these were neither. Our server informed us that the Cuban sandwiches are pre-made earlier in the day. Yum. Our entrees had a miniscule amount of black beans accompanied by a huge mound of rice. And to top it off we asked for hot sauce and they brought us Tabasco sauce, out of all the hot sauces in the world (or just in Cuba), WHY TABASCO?? The owner came to our table after realizing we were disappointed and asked ""are you girls Cuban"", as if that had any relevancy to having a palate for good food. This is definately the worst Cuban food I have ever had.
