I made reservations a week in advance for an important dinner party with clients, I even went so far as to stop in 3 days beforehand and pick out the section we wanted seated in, the table, and the view we wanted. When we arrived at the restaurant the table was not ready and when they went to seat us, they had disregarded the arrangement we had previously made. After we waited for an additional 10 minutes we were finally seated in the back room, where we had to yell across the table to one another. I guess next time I will have to set the table up myself...
