We have been vacationing in Nags Head for the last 10 years. We have always rented a house in Nags Head and love the freedom it gives you. The houses we have rented are always the only house on the property so when you step out onto the beach, that section is your. I read some of the reviews stating that the price for a meal is too high. I will admit we have seen prices go up, try renting a house so you can do some meals at home. Even the more expensive homes can be rented inexpensively if you have more than one couple. For peace and quiet, stay south or north of KH/KDH. Also keep in mind, things close up early here. But who couldn't fall in love with a place that has a Brew Thru!!!! Hope everyones vacations are as memorable as ours!
